How They Met
They met somewhere between sound desks, Sunday gatherings, and teenage chaos at their youth group. What began as simple conversations slowly turned into a genuine, effortless friendship long before anything romantic ever crossed their minds.
The First Date
After reconnecting at a church camp, a casual outing to Hudsons (not even officially meant to be a date) became the moment everything finally shifted. That night, under city lights, they shared their first kiss.
Making It Official
Patience was required for the right moment. Finally, in the Botanical Gardens, with a friend having secretly set up a perfect picnic, he asked her to officially be his girlfriend.
The "I Love You's"
There were no perfect conditions or rehearsed words. She said it first, casually, honestly, without overthinking it. Somewhere between ordinary days, it simply slipped out, and everything changed.
A Place of Our Own
For him, Salt Rock had been part of life since childhood. For both of them, it became something more. A sanctuary they’ve returned to every single year together, quietly and perfectly becoming theirs.
The Proposal
It was only fitting that it happened there. On the beach at Salt Rock, the backdrop of their whole story, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. A pure, full-circle moment.
